Set up AI Agent

AI Agent answers buyers’ questions using the item’s information and the instructions you prepare. You can test it before starting and decide which situations it should leave to you.

AI answers are available with Advanced and Professional, within your plan’s limits. Negotiations have their own settings in this area.

Start with a test

In Playground, select an item and write a question as if you were a buyer. The agent generates an answer using your current configuration.

Try questions you often receive about measurements, condition, shipping or bundle discounts. If an answer does not fit the way you sell, adjust your instructions or FAQs and test again.

Playground tests answers inside VintHelper. Automatic replies to buyers begin when you enable the agent using its start controls.

Tests have their own limit, separate from automatic answers. If you reach it, the panel tells you when to try again; it does not mean you have used up your plan’s answer allowance.

Instructions

Open Instructions to define how you want the agent to answer. Add an instruction, write its content, enable or disable it and remove instructions you no longer need.

A useful instruction describes a specific decision. For example:

If someone asks for a measurement that is not in the listing, do not invent a number. Say that I’ll check and let them know later.

Keep separate ideas in separate instructions, so you can change one without rewriting everything.

Questions and answers

In Q&A, add common questions and the information you want the agent to use when answering them.

Prepare entries about bundles, availability, measurements or collection. You do not need to cover every way someone might phrase the same question: provide a clear answer that applies to your wardrobe.

Enable only the entries that match your current selling policy. If your terms change, review these answers too.

Shipping policy

In Shipping, enable your policy and select the days you can ship. If you offer same-day shipping, also set a cut-off time.

This helps the agent answer questions about your shipping times. It does not generate labels or pack parcels: those actions are managed in Order+.

Answer settings

In Settings, review the tone, length and options controlling how the agent responds when information is missing. Also set the language and available per-conversation answer limits.

Choose whether the agent should respond after a purchase. Review this option based on the messages you prefer to handle yourself.

Item-specific notes

Item information provides context for answers. If a garment needs an extra clarification, add it to the agent’s item-specific notes.

For example, add a measurement or explain a detail visible in a photo. Do not put general wardrobe instructions in a note for one item: use Instructions for those.

When to ask for your help

Configure handovers for cases where the agent cannot find an answer, detects frustration or encounters subjects you prefer to handle yourself.

In Escalations, review handed-over conversations, open them and mark them as resolved. You can also find them among conversations needing attention in Inbox+.

Reply yourself in Inbox+ when you want to clarify the situation with the buyer.
